I haven't smoked for 6 weeks.
I was smoking about a pack of Benson & Hedges cigarettes each day - sometimes more - for about 35 wonderful years until I decided to say goodbye to my oldest friend.
I'm now going to quit smoking for good! I've tried all sorts of quit smoking medication and methods from cold turkey to Zyban.
Yes I've tried to leave before and succeeded for varying periods but with a heavy heart I know this time it's for good.
I've tried all the quit smoking treatments you can think about - even the stop smoking laser treatments. You name the stop smoking pill and I've taken it.
In fact - I've had more go's at this than Tiger Woods has had girlfriends.
Sure I've fleetingly thought about getting in contact again but I've resisted and it's getting easier and easier.
My therapist - Dr Champix- has been in residence for 8 weeks and I'm now on what he calls a maintenance visit for the next 8 weeks. I'm slightly worried about what happens when my therapy ends but I'm enjoying the moment and the freedom.
Dr Champix is a slightly unsavioury character. He's done some things that make me a little angry and short tempered at times - Miss Right will no doubt agree if she comments about this post.
Dr Champix seems to be involved in most parts of my life at the moment. From dreams about Miss Right storing marijuana in her bra to excessive flatulence (me not her!) - I know they say peppermint will help and I will try - but even Casper the dog is giving me the evils.
I'm starting to think this is the best way to quit smoking but I don't know what to do about the ganja in the underwear. Any suggestions?......keep them sensible please!
